Freshwater Theatre is committed to the development of new works and the promotion of art from the Twin Cities. In this vein, we decided to put out a call for Fringe productions presented in 2012 looking to remount their piece after the Fringe closed. Out of six very worthy candidates, we selected Dead Wrong, a powerful drama from local storyteller Katherine Glover!
Years after a brutal assault, a young woman grapples with new evidence that suggests she may have sent the wrong man to prison. A solo drama inspired by actual events.
For more info on the original production, visit the Minnesota Fringe website!
Running in rep with our production of Better (or) Worse, through five performances at the Nimbus Theatre, Katherine Glover’s incredible piece continued the theme of examining the toughest questions presented to our society today.
Dead Wrong was also featured on MPR’s Art Hounds by Theatre Pro Rata Artistic Director Carin Bratlie!
